Bruce Anderson – Reformation/Eastern Europe

Bruce has just returned from a 2-month long trip between Cambridge and Eastern Europe. He spent time on doctoral research in Cambridge and meeting with ministry partners in Eastern Europe. He and Ellie spent time shooting a documentary film and on language learning.  Please continue to pray for grace and financial provision during this busy season of transition as they develop new ministry partners and relationships.

 

 

Ginny Bellamy – Thailand
Please continue to pray Ginny’s knee which she had replacement surgery on in April.  She is doing well and just beginning to see some improvement in mobility.

 

 

Bill & Stephanie Black – Ethiopia/Kenya
The couple is finishing the last academic term at Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology. Bill’s apologetics class is experiencing first hand the challenges of relating to and engaging those of other world views. They have been taking the class out and exploring some rough areas in the community and students are learning how to communicate the gospel in effective and contextualized ways. 

 

 

Glen & Joan – US
Praise the Lord, Glen received a job as the Manager of Business Intelligence in their county’s health insurance company. The family is doing well and currently residing in California.

 

 

Mark & Kathryn – China

Please continue to pray for the Bowers as they prepare to return to the US permanently in July to take an administrative leave of absence with OMF-USA where Mark will be working on the mobilization team and coordinating church partnership activities for the organization. The couple will also be caring for Mark’s mother since the passing of his father last year. Pray for financial provision and grace for the adjustment back to the US.    

 

Benjamin and Monica Bailey – USA Muslim World.
Pray for the couple as they will be in Arizona during mid-June for Frontiers Candidate Training. This will be an intense of preparation for their big move to the Middle East Early next year. They ask for prayer that they would be able to narrow down their possibilities for a team to join and to contact leaders.  

 

 

Kevin & Amanda – China.
Kevin and Amanda have completed their 10th month in Beijing and will be back in Virginia this July until late August. Kevin has just completed the AIMS Harvest Connection seminar. The local believers are being coached in areas such as petitioning for missions support, how to adopt a people group, and developing a missions committee in their local church. The nationals are catching the vision! Amanda is beginning to recover from a 6 week illness. Please continue to pray for full restoration.

 

 

Tom & Teresa –IHOP
Tom & Teresa just returned from a 3-week trip to Egypt, Israel and Turkey where they are working on establishing and visiting the houses of prayer there, including the newly sent out IHOP team which is leading the HOP in Egypt. from July 14th – 15th they will be hosting a special “Isaiah 19’ event and will be receiving guest attendees from the Middle East. The couple requests prayer covering for their marriage, financial support, and for continued partnerships between their network, Lighthouse, and IHOP, KC.

 

 

Christina - Muslim World
Praise God for providing free housing for at least 3 months right near Myra’s house (where Tina watches the kids)! Pray also for a much needed car starting the beginning of August. Pray also for protection, perseverance, and provision as there has been tremendous warfare lately. “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”

 

 

Paul & Mary F. – YWAM Colorado
No new news. Paul and Mary have been privileged to steward and distribute considerable funds around the world. As such, they dedicated much of last year to educating themselves more in the area of properly handling donations for outreach projects by attending several conferences. Pray that God gives them wisdom in handling the ministry’s finances.

 

Chris and Kristen Furr - France
The Furrs are currently in the US visiting supporters and developing new ministry partners. Their ministry in France is flourishing and they are building strong relationships among the French, many of whom are exhibiting a strong hunger for God. Pray that the Holy Spirit will connect them with the hungry, and that the new believers will grow strong in their faith.  Pray also as the couple searches for a new home in a safe area.

 

 

David & Betsy – West Asia/ITN
Continue to pray for the Kanal-Hayat TV station follow up team, specifically for all necessary resources for the 24/7 TV channel to continue. Pray for wisdom, protection and encouragement for the call station operators. Betsy is working hard and in need of prayer for the extremely high volume of emails that are coming in from all over West Asia and is feeling slightly overwhelmed. The couple requests prayer that they would be able to “streamline” their lives that are full right now.

 

Alan & Susan Killingsworth – Nicaragua
Please keep the couple in your prayers as they will be transitioning off the field back to life in the US to care for Alan’s mother. Pray especially for grace and strength during their adjustment to US culture this fall, and for employments opportunities.

 

 

Jayson & Tracy – ITN
Most of the family is feeling a time of major life transition. Jaysons’s schedule is full as he continues to work with ITN in the areas of the global prayer movement, mobilization and evangelism for West Asia. He also researching leadership development in the context of local churches , and Tracy is working as a substitute school nurse and helping their daughter Annelise with wedding plan. Please remember Tracy’s mother, Joyce in your prayers as she has been battling cancer since August.     

 

 

Lamartine & Patricia Liberius – Haiti
Please pray for the couple as their finances are down. Pray especially for spiritual covering as spiritual warfare is thick right now. Neighbors have been worshipping Satan through all hours of the night. The couple will travel to the Dominican Republic this month to help lead VBS among a very community.         

 

 

Jeff & Cookie – England
Pray for Jeff that the Lord would encourage him in his role and service as director. Cookie continues her work as the Director of Equipping Coordination. She recently met with International Director to prepare for the fall’s Frontiers Leadership Meetings.The couple is still in the process of trying to sell their home—pray the Lord will send a buyer soon!

 


Greg & Sally – England.
Pray that would be able to recruit a team of long term workers from the US and UK to help birth the first congregation of Pakistani Muslims in England. They are also looking for 4 pioneers that can join the Malaysian team. Pray for the local translation team in Leeds as they translate the Kairos Coarse materials for publishing this year. Praise God that the Jesus Film has been produced in 2 new dialects in the past few months!

 


Randy & Marcy MacMillan – Colombia
Pray for Randy’s post-surgery recuperation recovery, and protection and wisdom for Randy, Marcy, and their extended family. In addition, they are requesting prayer for new financial and prayer partners, as well as a bilingual (English-Spanish) clerical volunteer to do writing, translations, editing, etc.

 

 

George & Hannah Miley – Antioch Network
George and Hannah have returned from their spring journey of research and remembrance of Hannah’s parents who were killed in the holocaust. They visited several locations between Germany and Poland where Hannah’s parents had been held captive, and prayed with their team to redeem what had been done. Their ministry continues with the hope of bringing reconciliation between Jews and Germans. The journal entries from their travels will make Hannah’s book now complete. In late July the couple will be leading a retreat on spiritual formation in Texas. George’s newly completed book, Ancient Wells will be used for the retreat.

 

 

David & Joy – Middle East   
The couple is working on getting local believers connected with each other to help each other in their journey. They have recently stepped down from their role as team leaders to let their good friends and partners lead the team and they are doing a fabulous job as pastoral leaders encouraging the team.

 

 

Norm & Debbie Przybylski –Elijah Co & Intercessors Arise
Norm and Debbie have successfully made their move to Kansas City this summer and have just bought a home there. Pray they they would be able to complete their renovations before they close. Meanwhile, the work among the S. people group that they work with continues to develop. Pray also for the upcoming prayer gathering in Kansas City in August which will see 26 major US prayer movements unite from the 26th – 30th. WOW!

 

 

Rob & Diane S. – Central Asia
Continue to pray for Rob’s translation work and for one of the men on the bible translation team as he tries to apply for his visa this month. In September they will be planning an extended time of checking with the United Bible Society in Southeast Asia. Keep Esther in your prayers as well as she transitions from boarding school in Pakistan to college life in the US this fall.

 

J & T – West Asia
The Lord is doing incredible things through the prayers and relationships that have been built in West Asia. The church’s Alpha course has grown from 5 to 50! Many visitors are coming to know Christ as Lord, but there is much warfare also. Please pray for church leaders and Jerry and Terry during this time while they have increased responsibility. Pray also for Terry in the recent of her father in the US. Many women are receiving inner healing at the Monday women’s home group that Terry hosts. Jerry has begun taking language classes in exchange for teaching self-defense classes. Pray also for Jerry as he will be teaching their home group on prayer through the summer.

 

 

Phil & Diane Thrash – Germany
The family is getting ready to transition back to the US after successfully planting a German national church which has now been turned over to a German pastor and thriving national leadership team. Phil will continue to work with EPC raising missions awareness       and equipping within the mid-Atlantic presbytery. Please pray for a smooth transition home, and for Kelsey’s transition to school in the US.

M & E – West Asia
The couple has just relocated to the nation’s capital. On August 1, Mark will begin serving as interim teaching pastor there for the next nine months. The relocation has wonderful opportunities for Dindy as the church has several outreaches to refugee women and children in the city. Pray for their adjustment to life in the busy and noisy city! Mark has already been offered several opportunities to conduct seminars and tours in town. He will return to North Dakota and Virginia  this fall to visit his parents and teach at Regent University. Dindy will stay behind as she returns to the US in February for the birth of their daughter’s third child!

 

Marie Umidi –TCMJ
No new news. Marie reported that this past Easter over 3,500 people responded to the call to receive Christ as Savior. Nearly 100,000 in North India have been reached, one village at a time!

 

 

Elizabeth Youmans - Chrysalis Int'l
Please pray for the upcoming teacher trainings and workshops this fall, as well as for the translation work of their AMO materials into French. After the Romania training this summer, one pastor who attended is now implementing the program as a Saturday club!

 

 

WEST ASIA  
Five visitors accepted Christ last Sunday, and the church is experiencing a wonderful influx of new visitors each week. Many are dropping in during worship practice just to listen and are returning on Sunday for service! There are 20 in attendance for the Alpha meetings as well. Please pray that many more would be drawn, that the new believers would flourish their faith and begin sharing their faith with others.
