Summer Serve '09
We Dared You To Serve!
This summer, KPC is took the love of Christ to the streets. Hundreds of us rolled up our sleeves and engaged in meaningful ministry in our neighborhoods…doing stuff like building homes, caring for widows, feeding the hungry, ministering in local jails, and visiting the elderly and sick in nursing homes. Jesus said the two most important commandments are to love God and love people (Matthew 22). Being a follower of Christ is not complicated, really, when you stay focused on those two instructions…and that’s what Summer Serve 2009 was all about.
